General Course

In our general course, students study the Japanese language long-term, holding status of residence as “Student” visa type. Classes are carefully organized according to skill levels and pace of learning of students. In this course, teachers help students comprehensively expand their proficiency in Japanese, with a proper balance of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Additionally, we take steps aimed at supporting students to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) with a high score. Along the way, students acquire Japanese language abilities, which will be useful in different circumstances.

Applicable Students

  • Students who have graduated from high school and received at least 12 years of education or holds an equivalent qualification (a higher or equivalent qualification to a high school graduate in Japan)
  • Students who wish to enter Japan by legal procedures
  • Financial capacity is able to cover expenses or having the financial support during the period of studying abroad.
  • More than 18 years old
  • Have no history of illegal residing in Japan or committing a crime in any countries before

Class Hours

Morning or afternoon study sessions (Total class hours to study Japanese for 1 year is about 800 hours)

  • Morning class: from 9:00 to 12:30 (45 minutes x 4 classes), 5 times per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Afternoon class: From 13:30 to 17:00 (45 minutes x 4 classes), 5 times per week (Monday to Friday)

B. CURRICULUM

DEVELOP 4 MAJOR SKILLS IN A WELL-BALANCED MANNER

Develop the basics of the four major skills “reading, writing, speaking, listening” in a well-balanced manner and acquire Japanese skills for various situations.

JLPT AND EJU PREPARATION

At the Intermediate level, Students will prepare for JLPT and EJU using questions and exams (Intermediate 1: N2 preparation, Intermediate 2 and above: EJU preparation). Teachers will also provide correction support for essays as the EJU has short essay questions. Even for those who do not wish to take the university entrance exam, EJU preparation are useful for general knowledge and for developing writing skills.

BEGINNER CURRICULUM WITH DIFFERENT PACE OF TEACHING

Sufficient acquisition of the foundation is very important to continue studying smoothly. As there are many students with different mother tongues and Japanese levels, having different pace of teaching classes allows students with different background to learn Japanese efficiently at the best pace.

BEGINNER 1

Study the initial knowledge of: Grammar, Chinese characters, Vocabulary, creating the foundation for communication and daily life

BEGINNER 2

Gain the ability to communicate in everyday situations, including the ability to express their intentions, thoughts and hopes. Students also understand basic Japanese culture and the ability to read simple phrases, short sentences, and create short compositions.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 1

Cultivates in students the conversational skills necessary for scenarios students will encounter in their everyday lives in Japan. Can read slightly longer passages.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 2

Cultivates in students the conversational skills necessary for scenarios students will encounter in their everyday lives in Japan. Can read slightly longer passages.

INTERMEDIATE 1

Students study grammar systematically and gain the ability to communicate in face-to-face situations in everyday life. Students also gain the ability to use Japanese with precise expressions.

ADVANCED 1

Students study texts to increase their reading comprehension skills to the level where they can read newspapers and magazines. Their listening skills are developed to the point where they can understand TV programs and lectures. Students can give opinion logically in discussions or through essays.

ADVANCED 2

Students can accurately express his or her opinion to the audience. Students can gain the ability to properly understand the opponent’s intentions. Thereby they can build a relationship with others.

Textbook: Minna no Nihongo textbook. new textbooks and other teaching materials may be used.

C. HIGHER EDUCATION GUIDE

We have full support system for all the students including those pursuing higher education: vocational school (senmon), university, graduate, or students with the desire to work in Japan.

Short Term Course

Course Overview
If students can get a visa on their own, or if they come from a country that does not need a visa for a short-term stay, they can take this course. Students in this course study with students in study visa courses and receive the same support with study visa courses. After they finish this class, they can change their status of residence to a student visa if they desire.

Applicable students

  • Students who can obtain a visa on their own or can stay for a short term without a visa
  • Students who are highly motivated to study Japanese language

Program overview

This course is for skilled workers/students are aimed to work in Japan as a “Specified skilled worker” No 1 visa type. This course provides details information related to “Specified skilled worker” certification, as well as improved Japanese language.
