General Course

In our general course, students engage in long-term study of the Japanese language while holding a “Student” visa status of residence. Classes are meticulously designed to cater to students’ skill levels and learning pace. In this course, our teachers provide comprehensive support to help students enhance their proficiency in Japanese, with a balanced focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Moreover, we take dedicated measures to assist students in achieving high scores on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Throughout the program, students acquire practical Japanese language abilities that will prove beneficial in various contexts and situations.

Applicable Students

  • Students who have graduated from high school and have completed at least 12 years of education or possess an equivalent qualification (equivalent to or higher than a high school graduate in Japan)
  • Students who intend to enter Japan through legal procedures
  • Financially capable of covering expenses or having the necessary financial support throughout the study abroad period
  • At least 18 years of age
  • No record of illegal residence in Japan or involvement in criminal activities in any country

Morning or afternoon study sessions (Total class hours to study Japanese for 1 year is approximately 800 hours)
  • Morning class: from 9:00 to 12:30 (45 minutes x 4 classes), 5 times per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Afternoon class: From 13:30 to 17:00 (45 minutes x 4 classes), 5 times per week (Monday to Friday)

B. CURRICULUM
DEVELOP 4 MAJOR SKILLS IN A WELL-BALANCED MANNER

Our curriculum focuses on building a solid foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. We strive to equip students with Japanese language proficiency applicable to various real-life contexts.

JLPT AND EJU PREPARATION
For Intermediate level students, we offer dedicated preparation for JLPT and EJU exams. Intermediate 1 focuses on N2 level preparation, while Intermediate 2 and above concentrate on EJU exam readiness. Our teachers provide guidance, practice questions, and essay correction support to ensure students are well-prepared. Even for those not planning to take university entrance exams, EJU preparation is valuable for general knowledge and writing skill development.

BEGINNER CURRICULUM WITH INDIVIDUALIZED PACE
We recognize the importance of a solid foundation in the early stages of language learning. Our beginner curriculum accommodates students with diverse language backgrounds and proficiency levels. By allowing for different teaching paces, we ensure that students can efficiently learn Japanese at their own best pace.

BEGINNER 1


Basic knowledge of: grammar, Chinese characters, vocabulary which will establish the foundation for daily life communication.

BEGINNER 2


Students will develop the ability to communicate effectively in everyday situations, expressing their intentions, thoughts, and aspirations. Additionally, they will gain a basic understanding of Japanese culture, by being able to read simple phrases, short sentences, and compose concise written compositions.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 1


Students will acquire conversational skills required for real-life scenarios they may encounter in Japan on a daily basis. Additionally, they will develop the ability to comprehend slightly longer passages of text.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 2


Students will improve their conversational skills necessary for a number of different scenarios and gain the ability to read slightly longer passages.

INTERMEDIATE 1


Students will approach grammar systematically and gain the ability to communicate in face-to-face situations with precise expressions.

ADVANCED 1


Students will acquire advanced reading comprehension skills, enabling them to read newspapers and magazines with ease. Their listening skills will be developed to enable them to understand TV programs and lectures effectively. Students will be able to express their opinions logically in discussions and essays.

ADVANCED 2


Students can accurately express his or her opinion to an audience. Students will gain the ability to properly understand the opponent’s intentions in order to build a relationship with others.
STUDYING MATERIAL
Standard textbook: Minna no Nihongo textbook. Additional textbooks and other teaching materials may be used.

C. HIGHER EDUCATION GUIDE
We have a full support system for all students including those pursuing higher education such as vocational school (senmon), university, graduated students and students planning to work in Japan.

Short Term Course

Course Overview Students who are able to obtain a visa independently or come from countries that do not require a visa for short-term stays are eligible to enroll in this course. Students in this program will study alongside those in study visa courses and receive equivalent support. Upon completion of this course, students have the option to change their residency status to a student visa if desired.

  • Students highly motivated to study the Japanese language

Program Overview This course is designed for skilled workers/students who aspire to work in Japan under the “Specified Skilled Worker Type 1” visa type. It offers comprehensive information about the “Specified Skilled Worker” certification process and enhances Japanese language skills.
